The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and organization that Grecotel is known for. They will work closely with the Housekeeping Manager and oversee a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are spotless and welcoming. With 40 luxury hotels and resorts all over Greece, Grecotel is a unique architectural experience in itself and a paradise of opulent amenities, gourmet restaurants, and luxurious, well thought-of details, all embodying the essence of the genuine Greek hospitality. Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating and supervising the housekeeping team
- Train and coach housekeeping staff on cleaning and maintenance procedures
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and orderliness
- Collaborate with front desk staff to ensure guest satisfaction
- Order and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory
- Schedule staff and assign tasks to ensure efficient use of resources
- Assist in developing and implementing housekeeping policies and procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, Housekeeping Supervisor, or similar role
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
